In an interview reflecting on decades of cross-border business experience, Salim Altınöz shared how his journey from founding a construction company in Türkiye in the late 1980s to leading global risk consulting.

His engagement with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce played a defining role in shaping his strategic vision, exposing him to Swedish culture and reinforcing his commitment to bilateral cooperation. Looking ahead, he underlined strong potential for Turkish–Swedish industrial collaboration, particularly in innovation-driven and sustainable sectors, driven by complementary strengths in both countries.

Our journey, which began 35 years ago with the goal of strengthening collaboration between Sweden and Türkiye, now stands as the foundation of a powerful business network. What started as an idea of business club, has grown over time into a strategic hub that unites the Swedish and Turkish business communities under one roof.

Throughout these 35 years, we have aimed to connect universal values represented by Swedish industry and technical expertise with Türkiye’s dynamic market.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our members and stakeholders who helped build this 35-year bridge, step by step, on solid foundations. Together, we have grown stronger — and together, we continue our journey into the future. Here’s to many more years!
