As the Head of Yapı Kredi Bank’s Cross Border Banking Unit, Esra has been working in the finance sector for 23 years. At the Yapı Kredi Cross-Border Banking her team is the first point of contact for foreign investors, provides consultancy services regarding Turkey and its banking system as a part of the Corporate Banking Unit . By participating in consulates and foreign capital investment forums (domestic fairs, attaché offices, etc.), information is shared about Yapı Kredi and the banking sector; sales and marketing activities are carried out to encourage foreign investors to choose the Bank. Support is provided to foreign-owned companies opening accounts at all Yapı Kredi branches in Turkey and its overseas subsidiaries. Coordination is ensured with all product groups and various units within the Bank to contribute to the promotion and increased use of its products. Since 2007 they have given support to more than 2000 foreign investors coming to Türkiye. At the same time, they are serving more than 5000 Foreign Investors located in Türkiye.

Esra started her career as an Management Trainee at Koç Holding .After that she assigned as an Investment Banking Sales Agent at the Koç Bank . Before joining the International Sales Team at the bank, she gained knowledge about the operation side of foreign trade transactions by joining the Foreign Trade Operation Team. For two years, she worked as an expat at the group bank UniCredit Milano as a Project Manager Officer in the International Banking and Digital Banking Project Group.Her current focus is on the evolutionary changes that the Banking and Finance Sector has gone through in the past few years and their impact on international sales.
Volunteering for non-governmental organizations related to environmental protection and girls’ education, working on fashion designs, and taking archaeological trips all over the world are some of the activities she likes to do in her spare time.
