Alican Emiroğlu

Alican Emiroğlu brings over two decades of experience in the automotive industry, having built his career at Volvo Cars across a broad range of commercial and operational roles. He has been serving as Managing Director of Volvo Car Türkiye since 2024, following his international assignment as Managing Director of Volvo Car Czech Republic.

A graduate of Yıldız Technical University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Emiroğlu began his career in 2001 at an authorized Volvo retailer before joining Volvo Car Türkiye in 2004. Over the years, he has held various leadership roles across logistics, planning, service and sales, gaining a well-rounded understanding of the business. After serving as Sales Director, he further expanded his experience and, in 2018, was appointed Commercial Operations Director at Volvo Cars EMEA Importers.

In 2020, he became Managing Director of Volvo Car Czech Republic, becoming the first Turkish executive within Volvo Cars to take on a country leadership role abroad. This experience further strengthened his international perspective and leadership approach.

Alican Emiroğlu is married with one child. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through crossfit training, snowboarding, and basketball, as well as traveling and sailing.
